   Christ the Savior Russian Orthodox Church is located approximately 14 miles south of Huntington in Wayne, West Virginia and is under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad.
   The founding of Christ the Savior Orthodox parish is the culmination of decades of prayerful and hopeful groundwork by parishioners, who tried for many years to maintain a local witness of the Russian Church Abroad in this part of West Virginia. The parish held the first Liturgy in it's newly constructed Church on March 17, 2002.

   Visitors are welcome. All services are in English. Our schedule of services:

   Saturday: Vigil Service - 6:00 pm
   Sunday: Hours and Liturgy - 9:15 am

   Times for feast services vary, please enquire about them from our priest.

   On Tuesday, June 24th, George Booth, one of the founders of our parish, has passed away. Please see pictures of the Funeral service and pray for the soul of newly-departed George.
